About IQAC

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been functioning in our college as per the guidelines of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance and Quality Enhancement activities of the institution.


1) To develop a quality system for conscious, consistence and catalyst programmed action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the college.

2) To promote measures for Institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.


1. Preparation and online Submission of Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to the NAAC by September 30 of every year.

2. Conducting NAAC sponsored National Seminars once in two years.

3. Conducting Staff Development Programmes periodically on different facets of higher education.

4. Conducting Staff Development Programmes for the newly recruited teaching staff on the NAAC assessment.

5. Conducting Staff Development Programmes for non-teaching staff/ administrative staff on various aspects of governance / e-governance.

6. Conducting Sensitization Programmes for Research Scholars on plagiarism.

7. Deputing Co-ordinator, IQAC / Faculty members to attend NAAC Sponsored National/ Regional Seminars/ Workshops.

8. Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institute.

9. Facilitating the creation of a learner centric environment conductive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge, skill and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.

10. Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality rested institutional processes.

11. Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars, conferences on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.

12. Organization of orientation, refresher, thematic, short term , long term programs to promote quality academic and non academic staff development.

13. Organization of one day seminar on ethics, integrity and values for staff and students.

14. Documentation of various professional activities leading to quality enhancement.

15. Organizing programs on policy issues, soft skill development etc for the students, teachers & non academic staff of the institution.
