On 23rd January 2026, the Department of Physics, Rajapalayam Rajus’ College, organized an awareness programme on National Girl Child Day at the Government School, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Rajapalayam. The Headmaster and the Head of the Department of Physics emphasized gender equality and the importance of self-confidence among girls. Dr. V. Moniha and Dr. S. Deepalakshmi motivated students to focus on education and personal growth. Physics students created awareness through drama, dance, quiz programmes, and self-defence demonstrations.
